Otley-Yeadon YSA run

Team Shipley SC and very welcome friends assembled early Sunday about 10:30 for a quick brew at McDonalds. Sun shining - looks like it's gonna be a good one. Martin and Locki are so keen they caught Jack in his slippers at 09:30 when they called round to see if he could play out! Geoff Jukes wanted to call in and pick his nephew up on the way to Otley, so having left McDonalds at 11:00 sharp we nipped over to Menston, Mick T. had kindly agreed to take Geoffs nephew as Geoff was already 2-up with his lady. I'm not sure what the quiet estate thought on Sinday morning when about 15 or so noisy bikes arrived! certainly lots of curtains twitching. Straight over to the meeting place in Otley - loads of great scoots. mooched around for an hour or so and a pint and then ready for the off! Awsome, must have bee 200+ scooters, great marshalling by the YSA. Nice run down the country lanes, pissed myself laughing as we passed cyclists coming towards us coughing and choking on very thick 2 stroke fumes. Big crowd at Yeadon, couple of pints, chat with a few mates, then set off home about 3 ish. Brilliant run, made even better by fantasic weather.
